living a richer life

IT engineers am sure live a far less richer life comparing to people in other professions.
Why do I say this ?

Our activites are mostly confined to our computer monitors.
Food within the cafeteria and recreation,if any, withinthe campus.

So what is my definition living a richer life ?
Richer life to me is experiencing wider range of things.
Expanding the experience zone.
Be it food. outdoors. Literature. Art forms.
This becomes more and more evident when I talk to my colleagues.
Our conversations, MOST of the time does not go far beyond traffic, weather and movies.
Our thoughts seem to be failing to find the right words.
There’s no response or a cold response to a much wider variety of issues surrounding us.
