    undivided attention

    SMS
    unsolicited calls
    Interruptions
    emails
    popups

Just counting the sources of distraction during office hours !
call it distraction or part of your business ?!

Effective number of hours on a task with undivided attention !
    Dropping day by day.

Too many pieces waiting to grab attention.
    Close your eyes.

600 to 90 in four months.

Know what am busy with these days ?
Reducing the number of feeds in bloglines.

There were days I had almost 600 feeds.
I have reduced this number over a period.
    Now it’s around 90.
Still a big number I feel.

It’s insane and I can’t spare few hours of a day just to read the blogs. Enough of reading. Time for some action.

    Harapanahalli to Harihar.

    Was travelling over the weekend.
    Harapanahalli to Harihar.

How can life be so very contrasting with the rural poor ?
How can IT affect their lives.
Can I touch their lives ?
Can I do something about it ?

Should plan for my six month’s sabbatical.

Feels like…I have led a very boring life without my notice.
It pricks even more if I ask my self
“What are you proud of yourself ?”

    Revenge of the Right Brain

    Deeply influential !

Wired 13.02: Revenge of the Right Brain:

“If the Industrial Age was built on people’s backs, and the Information Age on people’s left hemispheres, the Conceptual Age is being built on people’s right hemispheres. We’ve progressed from a society of farmers to a society of factory workers to a society of knowledge workers. And now we’re progressing yet again – to a society of creators and empathizers, pattern recognizers, and meaning makers.”

    Fwd: NOTEPAD TIP

This is real tip for people who use notepad to write down any info on a
    day to day basis…

    In Notepad

    * Create a blank text file with .LOG as the first line of the file,
followed by a carriage return. [ Enter ]
    * Save and close the file.
    * Double-click the file to open it and notice that Notepad appends the
current date and time to the end of the file and places the cursor on
    the next line.
    * Type your notes and then save and close the file.

Each time you open the file, Notepad repeats the process, appending the
time and date to the end of the file and placing the cursor below it

    Twinkle Twinkle little star…

I could play a tune for the very first time on my guitar.
    Twinkle Twinkle little star…

I could not believe. It’s happening after nearly 4 years of owning the instrument.

I kept wondering…How could it translate to these notes ?
SA SA PA PA GA GA MA…
