Blogging from Bangalore Book Festival.
But it’s little disappointing not to find wi-fi not working here today.Had tucked in a laptop, after I read about this in news paper y’day.

Been third timer I guess here.
There has been a sea change in the way I pick the stall and the book.
When I was here for the first time, it was an overwhelming experience. Loads Loads of book greeted me and I could not see any pattern emerging.
Today after years of experience behind me, of browsing the shelves, it takes just few seconds to ‘judge a book by it’s cover’

What titles I was interested in this time ?
Visual History of the world
Books on wireless and networking in general.

I have picked up two books so far after two hours of scanning.
CDMA2000 systems
- I had another book of vijay. k garg.
Content, look and feel of this book also is similar. But it’s always interesting to know how the same topic is dealt by others.

Basic electronics by schultz.
-Striking a balance between the Theory with practical example and still covering problems which might appear in ‘semester exams’.It’s always difficult to achieve all the three in one book.
That’s what I always expect in a tech book.

I read few pages of TCP/IP illustrated in the store itself.
Was kind of a revealation. More about this in a separate post.
