Operation of a Transistor
November 7th, 2006 | by A T M |
I tried very hard in my second year of engineering days to understand this.
It did not create any picture in my head.
When semester exam dates pressed on, I learnt that thing ‘mechanically’ and moved on.
Operation of a Transistor.
Let those text books take most of the blame and part of it on my small brain.
I wish there was one diagram like this. Just one.
That would have changed the course of my electronics studies….
I happened to learn about this yesterday! Six years after completion of electronics degree.
What a beauty ! Turning on and Turning off of the transistor.
(In their ugly and obscure language, they call it as forward biasing and reverse biasing)
