If there’s only one road and there’s only right turn,
does it make a difference by putting up a signboard, “Right Turn”
That’s the case with TCP/IP.
It’s not a clever protocol or something very special about it.
This is the way any sensible would have implemented.
So, debate of whether it’s a superior protocl or an inferior protocol should not exist.
I read few pages of TCP/IP illustrated Vol 3 at Bangalore book festival.
That was the revealation.
