You will call this stupidity…but that’s my thinking style at times.
Why cars are short and buses are tall….?!
My answer is:
In cars people sit and travel. That’s why it’s short. You will say….same is true in buses. People sit and travel.
But the reason why buses are tall is…when you step inside the bus…you reach the seats by walking!
For that to happen you need to stand up-right….
Hence they are taller.
For that to happen you need to stand up-right….
Hence they are taller.
Why did I like this piece ?
The fun is in deconstructing an established, taken-for-granted facts and truths…
….Something which we don’t generally do in our routines.
“Silly…”
I heard that.

What about vans? They’re taller than cars. And people aren’t supposed to walk around inside them. (and if they ARE supposed to walk around inside them, then why aren’t they as tall as buses?) Could it be perhaps that the vehicle’s design takes in consideration how many passengers will ride at a time and allow for a certain minimum amount of air per passenger to be included inside? My personal theory is that buses, being public, have to meet certain requirements of comfort to allow their use by almost everyone, whereas vans don’t, and if you don’t like bending and/or rubbing your head against the van ceiling to get to your seat, then you don’t buy the van.

At first I thought: “why am I reading this?”
In another way it is stimulating to question the unnoticed, unimportant things around us.
Maybe it also has to do with enough of air per person in a bus. A bus is higher then necessary to walk around in it.
The destination message on the front of the bus is more easily blocked on a low vehicle.
A low bus would probably use less fuel.
Do lower busses exist? Like a 30 person limo?

You are right…
Think about this…
I will blow up my car…so big that, it becomes of the size of a bus and I still call it a car.
Haha…
