Proud Moment

This is quite a news to share.

I have nearly begged-borrowed and stolen.
Laptop. I finally own a personal laptop. This is the most prized thing I have ever gifted myself. Proud moment as I unveiled the box from Dell y’day.

It’s a wait of nearly two years from the time I first made up my mind to buy one. For some reason it got postponed. I used to pool in all the cash and almost ready to order one, some emergency would pop up and I say “mm..Next Month ?”.

The biggest inspirer to own one, among other reasons, must have been blog. Blogs just opened up a whole new world with an opportunity to get to know interesting people and places around the planet.

Moreover, Web is in it’s most exciting part of the journey. How can I be left out ?

How do I like to keep my laptop engaged ?
- Lookup wikipedia, reader
- Do more office work @ home
- Weekend Movies and music
- More Blogging
- etc, etc

I liked DHL’s delivery. With the tracking you can actually see where is your package at any time. I religiously refreshed this screen everyday to check the status.
