I think the iPad(if it ever gets to India) would be the one I would buy. Along with being a an e-reader, you also get to all the typical iPod stuff plus a great browser. They will have a 3G version too.

It’ll be sometime before iPad hits India. Even if it makes it, I wouldn’t buy the 1st gen iPad. 2nd Gen is always a safe bet. Want me to stay away from the reader experience for that long ?. I cant.
